Tara Armstrong possesses extensive experience in industrial relations and human resources, currently serving as Director of Industrial Relations for the Queensland Government since May 2011. Tara has held various roles within the Office of Industrial Relations, including Manager and Principal Consultant, and acted as a Subject Matter Expert in Employee Relations for the Department of Community Safety. Prior to this, Tara contributed to Super Retail Group as a People Relations Coach and worked with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland as an Employment Relations Advisor and Human Resource Consultant. Tara began the professional journey in administration at Queensland Health after completing a Commerce degree with a focus on Employee Relations and Occupational Health and Safety from Griffith University.
