Isabella Lenzi is a curator and researcher specializing in Latin American art, currently serving in the Collections Department at Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina SofÃa since May 2020, where co-curated the exhibition "Vasos comunicantes: Colección 1881-2021." As an independent curator since March 2014 and an art critic for Contemporânea magazine, Isabella has contributed to various notable exhibitions and publications. Previous roles include Curator of Visual Arts and Exhibition Coordinator at Fundación MAPFRE, and Artistic Director and Chief Curator at Consulado Geral de Portugal, where Isabella developed an annual exhibition program spotlighting both historical and emerging artists. With education in Museum Studies and Architecture from prestigious institutions, Isabella has engaged in numerous collaborative projects and authored critical essays on contemporary art.
