Patrick Lynch is an accomplished engineering executive with extensive experience in the biotechnology sector. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Quantum-Si since August 2024, Patrick previously held the position of Vice President of Platforms Development at Bionano from March 2015 to August 2024, where leadership involved the development of the Optical Genome Mapping System (Stratys) from conception to market launch. Earlier roles include Vice President of Systems Engineering and other senior positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific, focusing on R&D for protein analysis products, and positions at Life Technologies and Applied Biosystems that emphasized systems verification and validation across various molecular biology applications. Patrick holds a PhD in Bioengineering from UC San Diego and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from UCLA.
