Jonathan Rothberg is a prominent entrepreneur and innovator in the biotechnology and medical technology sectors. As the Founder and Chairman of multiple companies including Quantum-Si, Butterfly Network, Hyperfine, 4Catalyzer, Detect, Identifeye Health, and AI Therapeutics, Rothberg has played a pivotal role in advancing technologies such as semiconductor-based DNA sequencing. Notably, Rothberg's contributions to the field were recognized with the 2010 Connecticut Medal of Technology. In addition to their entrepreneurial endeavors, Rothberg serves as an Adjunct Professor of Genetics at the Yale School of Medicine, where Jonathan engages in research projects encompassing deep learning and molecular evolution.
