Mike Wilson has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Mike currently holds the position of Lead Designer at Quantum Capture since June 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Creative Officer at an unannounced company starting from February 2019. From June 2014 to November 2017, Mike worked as a Narrative Director at Cloudhead Games, where they wrote game dialogues, designed in-game narrative assets, and crafted compelling stories for virtual reality experiences. Before that, they worked as a Freelance Designer from 2012 to 2014. From April 2010 to October 2011, they served as a Design II at Radical Entertainment, contributing to the narrative and mission design of Prototype 2. Mike also had a contract writing position at an undisclosed company from November 2009 to June 2010, where they helped develop the initial story and mission designs for a game. Mike started their career as a Jr. Game Design at Relic Entertainment in November 2007, where they worked on titles like Company of Heroes: Online and Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor, designing UI wireframes, brainstorming expendables/purchasables, and writing cut-scene dialogues and unit dialog/barks.
Mike Wilson obtained a B.A. in English from the University of Windsor, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. Following this, they attended the Vancouver Film School for a year, from 2006 to 2007, where they obtained a Certificate in Game Design.
