Ronan Foley is a Junior Quant Researcher at Quantmatix since October 2024, following a diverse career in both sports and data analysis. Previously, Ronan played rugby for Dallas Jackals Rugby, contributing to the team's first-ever Western Conference Finals in 2024, and was a key member of the leadership group. Before that, Ronan was an RTO Data Analyst at Insignis Cash and played for the Seattle Seawolves Rugby, where the team also reached the Western Conference Finals in 2023. Early rugby endeavors included playing for Toronto Arrows RFC, where Ronan was part of the defensive leadership group, and Leinster Rugby. Prior experience in data analysis includes a role at Binarii Labs, focusing on cryptocurrency research and analysis. Ronan graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Financial Mathematics from University College Dublin in May 2021.
