Scott Olson is a Lead Electrical Engineer at Quantinuum, specializing in mask design for quantum ion traps and supporting architecture since April 2019. Prior experience includes consulting roles as an IC Layout Engineer at Sequans Communications, an IC Layout Engineering Specialist at Analog Devices, where responsibilities included advanced layout design for transceivers and aerospace ICs, and senior mask design roles at Boston Scientific focused on low-power analog semiconductors for cardiac devices. Scott has a diverse background in custom analog mixed signal layouts from earlier positions at Agere Systems, JDSU, and LSI Logic. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Technical Communications from Metro State University and an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts from Normandale Community College, along with a background in Electronics from Rochester Community and Technical College.
