Greg FitzGerald is an experienced finance and technology professional currently serving as the Head of Capital Markets at Pachama, where responsibilities include driving investment in forest carbon projects and managing investor relations. Previous roles include Director of Technology Credit Solutions at Silicon Valley Bank, where leadership involved structuring venture debt deals and evolving credit strategies for Canadian startups. As an Adjunct Professor at The University of British Columbia, Greg taught courses on entrepreneurship and innovation, focusing on leveraging technology for social and environmental betterment. Greg also founded Venture Stem, developing innovative financing solutions for climate tech companies, and held positions at Future of Fish and Carbon Analytics, where efforts centered on sustainable fisheries and environmental impact data analysis, respectively. Earlier experience includes consulting at Deloitte and engineering roles at various companies. Greg holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and a B.A.Sc. in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
