Llewellyn Thomas is an experienced software engineer currently serving as the Lead Scala Engineer at Quantexa since November 2022. Previous roles include Scala Developer at William Hill from October 2021 to October 2022 and Senior Software Engineer at Gousto from February 2021 to October 2021. Prior to these positions, Llewellyn held the title of Technical Lead and Software Engineer at Time Out Group plc from March 2012 to July 2020, where responsibilities included delivering a scalable routing service and enhancing content management systems. Llewellyn began a career as a PHP Developer at Automated Marketing Ltd from August 2010 to March 2012, focusing on integrating marketing solutions and improving development workflows. Currently pursuing a BSc (Honours) in Computing & IT and Computer Science at The Open University, Llewellyn’s academic journey is set from 2019 to 2027, alongside earlier education at Tshwane University of Technology.
