Fernando García Polite, PhD, is an experienced professional in the field of image analysis and biomedical research, currently serving as Associate Director of Tissue Diagnostics Image Analysis at Quanterix since March 2024. Previously, Fernando held positions as Senior Scientist at Akoya Biosciences, Inc., and as Senior Scientific Data Analyst and Postdoctoral Research Scholar at CBSET. Fernando's expertise includes designing and implementing innovative imaging-based computational methods for histomorphometry analysis and developing computational models for biomedical environments. With a solid educational foundation in Chemical Engineering, including a PhD from IQS School of Engineering, Fernando has also contributed to academia as a teaching assistant and engaged in research at multiple prestigious institutions, including Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
