Khashayar Mahani is a Principal Engineer at Quanta Technology, LLC since April 2019, previously serving as a Senior Engineer. Prior experience includes a role at the Center for Advanced Infrastructure & Transportation (CAIT) from November 2011 to March 2019, where Khashayar managed and co-developed the technical content for several proposals, including a project for the National Science Foundation on smart controls and a feasibility study for the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities. Khashayar also worked on technical and financial assessments for distributed energy resources, including feasibility studies for VEOLIA and the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities. Khashayar earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Rutgers University between 2011 and 2018.
