Risto Siilasmaa is the Founder and Chairman of WithSecure, established in 1988, and previously served as CEO of F-Secure until 2006, later becoming Chairman until mid-2022 when WithSecure was split from F-Secure. Siilasmaa is also the Chairman of the Board at The Upright Project and Co-Founder of First Fellow Partners, focusing on startup investments. Additional board memberships include Hamina Wireless, CybExer Technologies, Quanscient, Pixieray, and Futurice, along with an advisory role at IESE Business School. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Technology (Hon.) from Aalto University and an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management.
