James Tippett, P.E. is a Senior Project Engineer at Quandel Consultants, a position held since November 2019. Prior to this role, James served as a Senior Bridge Engineer at AECOM from January 2015 to November 2019, following a tenure at URS Corporation as a Senior Structural Engineer from September 2006 to November 2014, when URS was integrated into AECOM. Earlier in their career, James worked as an Area Bridge Maintenance Engineer for the Illinois Department of Transportation from June 1989 to September 2006. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, obtained between 1986 and 1989.
