Pranita Kulkarni is a dynamic cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) systems, malware analysis, and security operations. Currently serving as a Senior Threat Research Engineer at Qualys since December 2022, Pranita has developed and implemented detection rules for EDR systems on Windows platforms to identify suspicious activities while minimizing false positives. Prior to this role, Pranita worked at Securonix from July 2018 to December 2022 as a Data Engineer Level III, focusing on various detection techniques within a UEBA and SIEM solution, and held positions ranging from Associate Security Engineer to Junior Security Engineer, where responsibilities included data analysis for threat detection and event correlation. Pranita holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from VIIT, Pune and a Diploma in Computer Science from Government Residential Women's Polytechnic.
