Áine Shivnan is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in artificial intelligence, engineering management, and program management. Currently serving as Vice President at Qualcomm since July 2009, Áine leads program management for the AI Research organization, focusing on developer relations and ecosystem solutions. Prior roles include Senior Director of Program Management, where Áine was instrumental in the development of the Qualcomm Flight platform for AI-enabled drones, and Director of Program Management overseeing machine learning research. Áine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin and has held leadership positions at several companies, including Director of Software Engineering at NextWave Broadband and Vice President Engineering roles at multiple firms. Áine also contributes as a board member for Athena and the Rancho Coastal Humane Society.
