Dave Parkinson serves as the Technical Director and Director of Engineering at QSC since May 2017, overseeing a team focused on the development of audio and video processing products for diverse applications, including cinema technologies. Previously, Dave held the position of VP of Systems Engineering at ZNYX Networks, leading hardware and firmware development for networking products optimized for virtualization. As Director of Engineering at Performance Technologies, Inc., Dave directed the design of networking products for telecommunications customers. Dave's experience also includes a role as Director of R&D at Intel/Ziatech, where a team was built to develop communication and computing products. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Baseband Engineering at Wireless Access, managing the development of early messaging devices, and contributing as a Research Engineer at Lockheed Missiles and Space, focused on hardware and software for space-based platforms. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Caltech.
