Carles Marcos i Guàrdia is an experienced professional currently serving as the Country Manager for Spain at Qonto since April 2019. Prior to this role, Carles held various positions at GoCardless, including Senior Business Development Manager, Business Development Manager, and Sales Development Representative from September 2016 to April 2019. Carles began a career in business consulting at Nexe - The way of change from November 2014 to September 2016 and gained initial experience in online marketing and business development as an intern at Cuponation (now GSG) and in marketing at Henkel (China) Investment Co., Ltd. A background in leadership was developed through the role of Vice President at e-joventut from November 2011 to November 2012, along with internship experience at McCann Erickson London. Carles holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Esade and participated in an exchange program focused on Asia Pacific Markets at Fudan University.
