Shin Foong Ngiow is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania since February 2016 and has served as a Research Officer at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute since March 2013. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Universiti Putra Malaysia from October 2007 to April 2009, where the focus was on developing a genetic screening platform for acute myeloid leukaemia. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pathology/Experimental Pathology from the University of Melbourne (2009-2013) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biomedical Sciences from Universiti Putra Malaysia (2004-2007).
