Lochlan Fennell is a Senior Lecturer at the University of the Sunshine Coast, having transitioned from the role of Postdoctoral Researcher at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, where experience included significant contributions to studies in gastroenterology and colorectal oncogenesis. Previously, as a Scientific Officer at QIMR, Lochlan focused on molecular analyses of both human and murine samples. Lochlan also served as a Visiting Research Scholar at QIMR, furthering research in oncogenesis. Earlier experience includes inventory management at Woolworths Limited. Educational qualifications consist of a Doctor of Philosophy in Cancer Epigenetics from The University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from the University of the Sunshine Coast.
