Eske Derks is a seasoned professional in the field of genetics and psychiatry, currently serving as the Group Leader in Translational Neurogenomics at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute since January 2017. Prior to this role, Eske held the position of Professor of Genetics in Psychiatry at Amsterdam Medical Center from 2012 to December 2016. Additional experience includes working as a doctor at UMC Utrecht from October 2007 to December 2011 and as a PhD student and postdoc at VU University Amsterdam from 2001 to 2007. Eske Derks earned a Master's degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Statistical Methods from the University of Amsterdam between 1997 and 2001.
