Ravi Gururaj has a long and distinguished career in the tech industry. Ravi started their career in 2003 as the CEO and Founder of SQA Technologies Pvt. Ltd., which was funded by Bain Capital Ventures and Trilogy Software. In 2006, they founded and became the Chief Technology Officer of VMLogix, Inc. In 2010, they became the Vice President of Products, Cloud Platforms Group and Vice President of Product Engineering, Data Center & Cloud Division at Citrix. Ravi then went on to become the India Representative and Mentor for the Citrix Startup Accelerator program in 2011. In 2012, they co-founded and co-chaired the Harvard Business School Alumni Angels - India and also became the Chairman and Co-Founder of Frictionless Ventures Pvt. Ltd. In 2013, they joined NASSCOM as a Member of the Executive Council and Product Council. In 2016, they became a Member of the IVCA VC Council for the Indian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association. In 2017, they became the President of TiE Bangalore. Finally, in 2015, they founded and became the CEO of QikPod, a cloud-enabled IoT product and service.
Ravi Gururaj completed their education history with a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1999. Prior to that, they obtained a B.Sc. in Economics (Finance & Decision Sciences) from The Wharton School and a B.S.E. in The Moore School - Computer Science Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1989. Ravi also completed a B.Sc. in Computer Science from The University of Edinburgh in 1987. Ravi Gururaj's education began at La Martiniere for Boys, Kolkata in 1974.
