Margot Jones has work experience in the private markets risk sector. Margot worked at QIC from April 2019 to June 2020 as a Senior Analyst in Private Markets Risk and then became the Manager of Private Markets Risk in July 2020. Prior to their time at QIC, Margot worked at Fife Capital from January 2007 to December 2018, starting as a Senior Investment Analyst and Compliance Officer before becoming an Investment Manager in November 2013.

Margot Jones obtained a B.Bus degree in Finance from the University of Technology Sydney, where they studied from 1998 to 2000. Later, they pursued further education and earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute, completing it by 2011.
