Yi Kong, PhD, serves as the Vice President and General Manager for Greater China at QIAGEN, overseeing a $100M+ business with P&L accountability and managing an extensive team of 300 in R&D, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, Service, Supply Chain, and Regulatory functions. In addition, Yi Kong is a Board Member for the China Chapter of AdvaMed. Previously held positions include Senior Director at Danaher Corporation, focusing on product management and marketing for Cepheid, and various leadership roles at QIAGEN, Agilent Technologies, Gilead Sciences, GSK, and The Boston Consulting Group, demonstrating a strong background in strategic planning, commercial operations, and marketing within the diagnostics and biopharma sectors. Yi Kong earned a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Tsinghua University.
