Cristina Barsan is an accomplished commercial engineer at QIAGEN, where employment began in March 2019, and serves as a scientific consultant for the Led Academy association since January 2014. Prior experience includes a role as a postdoctoral researcher at Université de Liège from December 2015 to March 2019, and a junior scientist position at Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse from October 2007 to November 2010. Cristina's academic credentials include a PhD from INP Toulouse, a Master of Science in Horticultural Genetics and Biotechnology from the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania, and a Postgraduate Specialization Diploma in the same field, as well as an Engineering degree in Biotechnologies applied in veterinary medicine from the Faculty of Biotechnologies, USAMV Bucharest.
