Orkun Akar attended Arı Koleji from 1989 to 1998, where they completed their high school education with a focus on math and science. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering with a minor in Business at Virginia Tech from 1999 to 2003. Later, Orkun enrolled at Loyola University Chicago, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance & Marketing between 2004 and 2006. In August 2017, they obtained a certification in "Python for Financial Analysis and Algorithmic Trading" from Udemy.
