Marco C. is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the O&M Director and Asset and Plant Manager at QatarEnergy for the 800.15 MWp Al Kharsaah Solar IPP since March 2020. Marco has held various leadership roles including Project and Construction Director at QatarEnergy, Project Construction and O&M Director at Marubeni Corporation, and Projects Director at ILF Consulting Engineers. Additional experience includes significant positions at IFC and Good Energy, managing solar and wind power projects. Educational qualifications include a Chartered Professional Engineer degree from Università Politecnica delle Marche and a Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, along with a background in thermonuclear fusion from Utrecht University. Marco possesses extensive expertise in project management and operations within large-scale energy projects.
