Bakhtiar Sutanto, PMP®, is a seasoned piping engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Sr Piping Engineer at QatarEnergy since April 2019, Bakhtiar has previously held significant roles including Lead Piping Engineer at JKC Australia LNG Pty Ltd for the Ichthys Onshore LNG project and Head of Piping at Chiyoda Almana Engineering LLC. Other notable positions include Lead Piping Mechanical Engineer at Total E&P Indonesie and Pipe Stress Specialist at Saipem Indonesia. Bakhtiar began the professional career at Tripatra Engineering & Constructors as a Piping Engineer. Bakhtiar holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung, obtained in 2001.
