Abdelaziz Bouras is a distinguished academic and researcher with extensive experience in information engineering and research management. Currently serving as the Research Pre-Award Department Manager at Qatar University since September 2013, Abdelaziz leads a team to implement internal grant mechanisms and guides researchers in securing external funding while fostering industry collaborations. In addition to this role, Abdelaziz holds the title of Full Professor, overseeing doctoral students and managing the "Information and Software Engineering" research team. Abdelaziz also acts as Chair for the International Federation for Information Processing, contributing to global discussions on ICT for product development. Previous positions include serving as Scientific Chair at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Qatar, and as Full Professor at Universite Lumiere Lyon 2, where Abdelaziz led significant research projects funded by various European and national programs. Abdelaziz holds a PhD in Information Modeling and has authored over 200 publications in the field.
