Julia Tugwell is a seasoned professional in the field of museology, currently serving as a Museology Manager Consultant at Qatar Museums since July 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Project Manager at DesignPM, Project Curator at The British Museum, and Researcher and Gallery Administrator at AMIR MOHTASHEMI LIMITED, among others. Julia's early career featured positions at Qatar Museums as Assistant Curator and Acting Head of Research, and as a Research Assistant at the Royal Ontario Museum. Julia holds a Master of Arts in Islamic Art History from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in History in Art from the University of Victoria, alongside additional studies in Middle Eastern Studies and art history at renowned institutions.
