Rizwan Maqsood is an accomplished procurement professional with extensive experience in various sectors. Currently serving as the Category Lead for IT Procurement at Qatar Airways since August 2022, Rizwan previously held significant roles at Nestlé from 2011 to 2022, including Procurement Manager, Lead Procurement Specialist, and Category Demand Manager, overseeing large procurement operations with annual spends exceeding USD 200 million. Additional roles at Nestlé included Business Excellence Manager and Continuous Improvement Lead, where Rizwan contributed to the successful implementation of SAP solutions and led continuous improvement initiatives. Earlier experience at Crescent Bahuman Limited involved managing fabric procurement processes. Rizwan holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences from Lahore University of Management Sciences and has foundational education in computer sciences and general sciences.
