Q39 is a premiere full-service restaurant in Kansas City serving  traditional and inspired barbeque cuisine in a casual, contemporary setting.  
  
The company is led by experienced executive chef and owner, Rob Magee, who opened the original concept in mid-town Kansas City in April 2014.   We are excited for the new location in Overland Park opening Sept 1, 2017.    

Q39 has an urban rustic dining room with a full-service bar and staff.    The unique kitchen is completely open, a far cry from the dank pits of traditional joints.  Our menu offers wood-fire grilled and barbeque-inspired dishes.  Food is prepared fresh daily using recipes refined by hundreds barbeque contests nation-wide by barbeque team Munchin’ Hogs. 

Our teams are top-notch and thrive in a fast paced, goal oriented environment.  The focus is to maintain the highest guest satisfaction by offering mouth-watering food, outstanding customer service in a clean, relaxed environment.

The Catering and Food Service team at Q39 is dedicated to providing exceptional culinary experiences for events and gatherings outside the restaurant. Led by the Director of Catering Sales, this team coordinates menu planning, logistics, and on-site service to ensure that customers receive the same high-quality barbeque and outstanding service that Q39 embodies. They work collaboratively to create customized catering packages that cater to diverse client needs, all while maintaining the restaurant's commitment to guest satisfaction.
