Chris Nicol is an accomplished Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in developing collaborative solutions, particularly in the educational technology sector. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed to the design and development of hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices while also having previously worked as a Firmware Engineer on similar projects. Prior experience includes serving as an Electronics Contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, focusing on electronics design for educational devices, and as an Electronics Engineer at Grindcom, where responsibilities encompassed circuit design and software development for control systems in the forestry industry. Chris Nicol also has a background in academia, having served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary. Educational qualifications include an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
