Howard Shortt is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in incident response and information security. Currently serving as the Director Cyber & Forensics and Head of Incident Response at PwC Ireland since December 2023, Howard has previously held similar leadership roles at Grant Thornton Ireland and AIB. An academic supervisor at Trinity College Dublin from 2010 until December 2023, Howard provided mentorship to students in various disciplines related to project management and software development. Possessing a solid technical foundation with past roles at IBM, EY, and Hewlett-Packard, Howard's educational credentials include an MSc in Computer Forensics & Digital Investigation from University College Dublin and a BSc (Hons) in Information Systems from Trinity College Dublin, among other qualifications in fintech.
