Corey Sobers-Smith, MBA, CPA, CGA, CA, has extensive experience in the field of accounting and risk management, currently serving as a Manager in the Regional Risk & Quality Department at PwC since August 2012, where responsibilities include maintaining international quality standards and reducing risk for the Assurance and Advisory Lines of Service. Prior roles at PwC included Senior Associate positions in both Risk & Quality and Assurance, with a focus on private practice entities across various industries, and extensive involvement with International Financial Reporting Standards. Additionally, Corey is an Adjunct Faculty Member at The University of the West Indies, teaching financial accounting courses, and has served as a Freelance Tutor for ACCA exam preparation. Academically, Corey holds an MBA in Strategic Management, along with a CPA designation, a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance, and an Associate of Arts in Accounting and related fields.
