Candace Ewell

Candace Ewell is a Principal at PwC, where work focuses on information reporting and withholding matters within the Tax Controversy and Regulatory Services global practice, addressing compliance and remediation issues. Previously, Candace served as a Director, assisting clients with information reporting compliance and remediation processes. As a member of the IRS Information Program Advisory Committee (IRPAC), Candace collaborated with the IRS to address regulatory issues related to FATCA and other reporting requirements. Candace’s experience includes roles at the U.S. SBA Office of Advocacy as Associate Chief Counsel (Tax Policy), advocating for small business interests, and as an Attorney Advisor at the IRS, concentrating on corporate tax matters. Academic qualifications include a Master of Laws in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, a Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Science from Oregon Health and Science University School of Nursing.
