Wendy Tieman serves as a Raadslid at Gemeente Capelle aan den IJssel since July 2022 and is involved with INEA as a member of the editorial board since July 2023. Tieman holds a leadership role as project leader at Stichting het Ministerie van Boekenzaken and has been actively engaged in various positions within the PvdA since June 2012, including faction chair and negotiator for coalition agreements. Tieman's academic background includes a PhD in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from Erasmus University Rotterdam, along with significant teaching and administrative roles there and at Leiden University. Previous professional experience also includes post-doctoral research at Erasmus MC and a sabbatical in early 2022.
