Toon Geenen currently serves as a Product Owner at ProRail, focusing on the Donna Service Organization. In addition, Toon has held the position of Chair of the PvdA Amsterdam since November 2020, where responsibilities include organizing election campaigns and developing long-term strategies. Toon has been the Chair of Stichting Stoelenproject since September 2011, providing essential low-threshold night shelter services in Amsterdam. Previous roles at UWV included Project Manager ICT and Release Manager, with a focus on improving applications used by thousands of employees. Toon also has experience as a municipal councilor in Amsterdam and held leadership positions in various political and social organizations. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Political Science and Government from Leiden University and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of Amsterdam.
