Jamila E. Taylor is a State Representative in the State of Washington, serving in various leadership roles within House committees and caucuses. Jamila E. also works as a Staff Attorney in the LEAD Legal Services - Racial Disparity Project at the Public Defender Association. Jamila has a background in civil legal aid assistance for crime victims and experience in program advocacy and community engagement. Prior to their current roles, Jamila E. held positions in youth violence prevention coordination, legal counseling, and customer service. Jamila E. holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Oregon School of Law.
