Morten Klitgaard has extensive work experience across various industries. Morten started their career as an Intern at Siemens CT in 2005. Later, they joined Procter & Gamble where they held roles such as Nordic Demand Planner and Nordic Demand Planning Manager, achieving high forecast accuracy and being responsible for financial alignment. Morten then joined Implement Consulting Group as a Senior Consultant. In 2009, they joined British American Tobacco, where they held positions such as Marketing Finance Manager and Project Manager Marketing & Finance. In 2014, they joined Specsavers and took on roles including Finance Business Partner, Regional Financial Controller, and Senior Finance Business Partner. Currently, in 2023, Morten Klitgaard holds the position of Head of Commercial Finance at PureGym. Prior to their career in the corporate sector, they served as an Officer of the Reserve/ Platoon Commander in the Danish Army from 1998 to 2011.

Morten Klitgaard has a diverse education history. In 2003 to 2005, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Economics & Business Administration with a focus on International Business at Copenhagen Business School. During this time, they also attended WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management for an exchange program in Economics & Business Administration.

In 2004, Morten Klitgaard participated in a Summer University program at Tongji University, where they studied Chinese Business. Additionally, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business Administration at Copenhagen Business School from 2000 to 2003. In 2002, they engaged in an exchange program at the European Business School in London, specializing in Economics & Business Administration.

Morten Klitgaard's education history concludes with an Executive Education program in Leadership at INSEAD in 2018.
