Ronald Karr is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in storage solutions, virtualization, and cloud services spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Director at Pure Storage since February 2014, Ronald is an integral member of the CTO group. Previous roles include Fellow at Symantec, where significant contributions were made to integrate storage appliance products with backup and cloud services, and Distinguished Engineer focusing on storage virtualization at both Symantec and its predecessor, VERITAS. Ronald has also held leadership positions, including CEO and chief architect at Xinto, and has worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Tolerant Software Corp. and a Software Engineer at Amdahl Corp. Ronald's career began as a System Administrator at National Semiconductor Corp. Ronald holds a BA in Physics from Linfield University.
