Chen Siyang is a Staff Software Engineer at Pure Storage, where responsibilities include architecting and implementing high-performance storage systems focusing on data deduplication and compression, as well as overseeing the development of advanced storage engine designs. Prior to this role, Chen served as a Research Scientist at Duke University and completed a Software Engineering Internship at GF Securities, where significant contributions included the development of high-frequency trading strategies using C++ and Python. Chen holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Automation from Guangdong University of Technology, complemented by an exchange program at Columbia University.
