Tyrone Hazen has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Tyrone started their entrepreneurial journey in 2009 as the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Books For People, a nonprofit organization. In 2011, they became the Inventor, Co-Founder, and CFO of Tongue Traps, LLC.
From 2013 to 2015, Tyrone worked as a Residential Specialist at Starpoint Properties and as a Shop Technician at MakerPlace. In 2013, they also founded Grey Street Design, LLC, where they served as the Designer and CEO until 2018.
In 2015, they founded HyCue Technologies, LLC and served as the CEO until 2016. During the same period, from 2013 to 2015, they were the Head of Product and Business Development at HEPI Trading, Inc., a Health, Wellness, and Cosmetic company.
In 2016, Tyrone worked as a Real Estate Broker specializing in foreclosures at Cascade Sothebys International Realty. Tyrone then ventured into the hospitality industry as the Owner/Operator of Loloma Lodge from 2017 to 2018.
In 2018, they founded Puffin Drinkwear and currently holds multiple roles, including Founder, Co-Founder, President, and CFO. Puffin Drinkwear aims to keep drinks cold and smiles bright. Tyrone's shift in thinking towards business and personal success has led him to view their entrepreneurial pursuits as a means for personal security and making a difference in the lives of customers.
Tyrone Hazen attended UC San Diego from 1998 to 2000, studying Physics. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at UCLA from 2000 to 2002.
