Josean Feliciano

Executive Vice President at Puerto Rico Industries for the Blind

Josean Feliciano has an extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Josean began their career as a Freelance Journalist for Periodico El Norte in 2003 and later worked as an Editor In Chief for Merk2s de Puerto Rico. In 2006, they served as an Anchor for Nueva Economia (TV) before joining Inteligencia Economica y Legislativa as a Public Policy Director in 2007. In 2008, they became a Consultant in Business Development for Consultoria de Negocios. In 2010, they worked as a Professor at Universidad Central de Bayamón before transitioning to become the Business Owner of Verde Menta Café, Inc. in 2012. At the same time, they also served as the Director of Government Affairs at Estratexia Política, Corp. until 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Executive Vice President at Puerto Rico Industries for the Blind since 2013.

Josean Feliciano is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration degree at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Puerto Rico, which is expected to be completed in 2023. Josean holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Business from Universidad Metropolitana, earned from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism from Universidad Central de Bayamon, completing their studies from 2001 to 2006. In 2020, Josean received a Diversity and Inclusion for HR Certificate from Cornell University ILR School. Additionally, they obtained an Introduction to Inclusive Talent Acquisition certification, offered by Perkins School for the Blind, in 2020.
