Gobi Sakthivel has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Gobi currently holds the position of Principal Software Engineer at PubMatic, where they started in August 2022. Previously, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Mettler-Toledo International, Inc from May 2022 to August 2022. Before that, they had a role as a Senior Software Engineer at Fiorano Software from February 2021 to April 2022. Gobi also served as a Senior Software Engineer at EFI India Private Limited from July 2015 to February 2021. Gobi began their career at Fiorano Software in June 2012 as a Software Engineer and later served as an Intern from January 2012 to May 2012.

Gobi Sakthivel completed their Primary School education at Rani Meyyammai Matriculation School from 1994 to 2006. Gobi then pursued Higher Secondary education at SRV Boys Higher Secondary School from 2006 to 2008. Gobi Sakthivel furthered their education at PSG College of Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science from 2008 to 2012.
