Anna Rose is an experienced professional in the fields of planning and policy development, currently serving as Chair of Public Practice since October 2022, where responsibilities include supporting the CEO and COO and advocating for local government. Since August 2017, Anna has acted as Head of the Planning Advisory Service at the Local Government Association, guiding councils in implementing national policies. Previous roles include Service Director for Planning and Transport at Milton Keynes Council and leadership positions at Rugby Borough Council, focusing on planning, economic development, and cultural initiatives. Anna’s expertise is further enhanced by legal experience as a Legal Advisor at the National Farmers Union, providing mentorship and guidance in planning law. Anna holds an MA in Town and Country Planning and a BA in Planning Studies, complemented by advanced coaching credentials.
