Hanna Perry is an experienced attorney currently serving as a Staff Attorney in the Special Litigation Division at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia since December 2021. Previously, Hanna held positions as a Staff Attorney in both the Criminal Defense Practice and Civil Rights and Law Reform at Brooklyn Defender Services from September 2019 to November 2021, and as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Cynthia M. Rufe in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania from September 2018 to August 2019. Additional roles include serving as a Rule 36 Student Attorney at New Hampshire Public Defender and participating in various clerkship and internship positions within public defense and legal support services. Hanna earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from Georgetown University Law Center in 2018.
