Clare Kruger is a dedicated legal professional with extensive experience in juvenile defense and youth justice reform. Currently serving as a Staff Attorney in the Juvenile Services Program at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia since June 2016, Clare has focused on direct representation of youth in delinquency matters. Previous roles include a Legal Fellow at DC Lawyers for Youth, a Student Attorney at the Georgetown Law Juvenile Justice Clinic, and various law clerk positions at organizations such as the National Center for Youth Law and the San Francisco Public Defender's Office. Clare holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from UCLA.
