Alison Jones has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Alison most recently held the position of Director of Global Medical Information at PTC Therapeutics, Inc. from March 2021 to present. Prior to that, they served as an Associate Director and then a Medical Information Manager at the same company between 2013 and 2021.

Before joining PTC Therapeutics, Inc., Jones worked as an Operations Manager at Medical Toxicology & Information Services Ltd from October 2011 to June 2013. Alison also worked as a Senior Information Scientist at Guys & St Thomas' Poisons Unit from February 2005 to October 2011.

Earlier in their career, Jones held various positions in the medical field. Alison worked as a Senior Medical Information Officer at Aventis Pharma from February 2001 to February 2005. Prior to that, they served as a Poisons Information Officer at Guys & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust from November 1998 to February 2001.

Jones also has experience outside of the medical field. Alison worked as a Customer Care Administrator at Business Express from September 1997 to November 1998 and as a Veterinary Assistant at Parrock Street Veterinary Surgery from June 1996 to August 1997.
