Jodi Gilles has a diverse work experience in the physical therapy field. Jodi started in 2012 as a Laboratory Instructor at the University of Mississippi, where they taught Human Anatomy and Physiology to college students. Jodi then took on multiple roles at the University of Florida, including Administrative Director, Teaching Assistant, and Student Physical Therapist.

In 2020, Jodi became the District Chair for the Florida Physical Therapy Association. Their responsibilities included representing the district and advocating for the profession.

Currently, Jodi is with PT Solutions Physical Therapy, where they have held various roles since 2017. Jodi started as an Inpatient Rehab Physical Therapist and then progressed to Inpatient Education Coordinator and Integration Operations Lead. Their current position is Director of Inpatient Education & Quality, where they oversee the education and quality initiatives for inpatient services.

In terms of additional certifications, they are a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist, awarded by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) in 2021. Jodi also obtained a Physical Therapy certification from APTA in November 2017.
