Nikjar Kasumova is a GZ-psycholoog at PsyQ since November 2022, previously serving as a psychologist in training and psychologist at GGzE from May 2018 to September 2022, focusing on transcultural psychiatry. Prior experience includes working as a psychologist at BBAZ and Stichting 1nP from 2016 to 2019, where Nikjar conducted intake interviews and treated various psychological complaints using cognitive behavioral therapy, approaching treatment from a culturally sensitive perspective. As a reintegration coach at Jasnante from February 2015 to March 2017, Nikjar assisted job seekers with physical and psychological challenges. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Tilburg University and advanced training in schema therapy and EMDR.
